118 laps for the FDA driver in Barcelona
The curtain has come down on two particularly busy days of testing for the Formula 1 teams at the Catalunya circuit, which also hosted the two pre-season sessions back in February. Young Antonio Fuoco notched up 118 laps on his first time out in the SF16-H. His programme centred on aerodynamic mapping, set-up work and qualifying simulation. Fuoco’s best time was a 1.24.720, set on the Soft compound tyres.
The next and final in-season test session takes place at Silverstone on 12 and 13 July, while Formula 1 is back in action in two weekends time on the Monaco street circuit.
