Meet a very boldly tuned BMW i8. It belongs to a young Texan gentleman called Austin Mahone, who, after fervent Googling and some quizzical looks at well-known video streaming sites, appears to be a rather successful pop music person.
While TG is a little late to discovering Mr Mahone’s back catalogue of work (we aren’t yet an office of Mahomies), we can only offer praise for what he’s indulged his earnings on: BMW’s sublime i8 hybrid sports car, decked out in an Iron Man-inspired frock.
In a world of very dubious celeb-specced supercars (yes, we’re looking at you, Bieber), the i8 is pleasingly restrained. Tasteful, even. The red and gold wrap apes the colours scheme of Tony Stark’s flying suit of armour, though there are disappointingly sparse details on the possibility of rocket jets or weapons hidden beneath the panels.
